WhatsApp Messaging app now has free voice calling in all countries

WhatsApp MessengerWhatsApp voice calls are open to all in version 2.12.19 and later — no invites needed

WhatsApp Messenger is a people’s favorite cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. Now you call your friends and family using WhatsApp new call feature for free. You can call both locally and abroad and talk freely without using your cellular plan’s voice minutes. The app calls use your phone’s Internet connection instead of credit. What you need is to enable you mobile data, or connect to Wi-Fi near you.

WhatsApp has now joined other apps like Skype, Google Hangouts and Viber, and this show good competition. The calling feature on WhatsApp launched for Android last month in beta to a small number of users, followed by availability on an invitation-only basis. Now voice calling is available for every WhatsApp user on Android.

The WhatsApp calling feature is available on version 2.12.5, on Google Play Store and WhatsApp own site. You can call a friend to confirm if yours is working properly.

Even after the introduction for the calling feature, the app remains with no ads. So you will continue to enjoy premium services, for free!
