TPG by American Red Cross The Red Cross is back with another mobile app called TPG by American Red Cross, but this time it’s for nurses, doctors, medical technicians, and other hospital staff. TPG stands for Transfusion Practice Guidelines, and it’s a peer-reviewed set of best practices for drawing and transfusing blood. Separate guidelines for red blood cells, platelets, and plasma, plus dose calculators, appendices, and other resources are included.

The TPG App is the mobile version of the Compendium of Transfusion Practice Guidelines. It is an easy-to-use resource and here are its features.
