For the last 7 consecutive years, Google has maintained second position behind Apple who have celebrated the top position for at least now 9 years consecutively. While things seems to be fine on Apple’s side, and Google dropping a step down, Samsung on the other hand is really celebrating to have beat Google this time round. Bearing in mind that, last year we saw Apple take Samsung to courts, who could ever imagine Samsung could MAKE IT TO SECOND POSITION and settle cosily just below Apple! Apple fans and many neutrals thought of Samsung as a copier not an innovator. But this results proves otherwise as you’ve all seen.
Looking at Samsung line of trends, the company has risen from number 28 in 2008 to number 2 in 2013, making it quite an impressive growth for the Korean manufacturer. According to Boston Consulting Group, Samsung Company did many innovative tasks in 2013 and whole credit goes to Samsung’s Chairman, Lee Kun-hee. His commitment and leadership grows Samsung at such a great extent.
