TeamViewer QuickSupport top App

App IconTeamViewer QuickSupport a new app for remote control for Samsung Android devices.

You can now access Samsung Smartphone/Tablet or resolve any mobile-related support queries of your employees or colleagues, friends, and family members remotely from your computer. TeamViewer released this super app for Android with the aim of making a remote control a breeze. Ask your friends to install the free app available at Google play store and then provide you with a QuickSupport ID (access code) via text message or email which will enable you to establish a connection with his/her device. The user on the other end will have to confirm the connection in a popup. Ones everything is setup, you get live stream of the phone’s interface on your computer. The streaming image-quality will automatically adjust based on bandwidth sent.

You can navigate easily around the remote device’s interface by using your mouse; therefore, you can click and drag and make fixes or install software without access to the hardware buttons. All the same, you will get back, home, and menu soft keys at the bottom of the window. But, it would be hard for you to activate multi-touch gestures since you’re working with a mouse.

Highlights of TeamViewer QuickSupport are as follows:

  • Access any Samsung mobile from any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer with TeamViewer
  • IT departments can help employees resolve any support questions with their Samsung mobile device quickly and easy
  • Conveniently control the mobile device from your computer to edit text messages, check email account settings, or troubleshoot other apps etc.
  • Secured connection with 256 Bit AES Session Encoding
  • The app is compatible with Samsung mobile devices running original Samsung Android firmware (Android 2.3 or later)
  • The app is free!

Quick Guide:

  • Download and launch the app
  • The other side, e.g. the support technician, needs to install and start the TeamViewer full version on his/her computer (download at www.teamviewer.com)
  • Pass on the QuickSupport ID to your trusted partner, who uses the TeamViewer full version
  • Allow your trusted partner to connect to your device
  • And you are good to go!

User reviews:

Stephan, a user, said on 16th august 2012 at Google play, “At first I was unable to get QuickSupport ID (blank box). The issue appears to be my corporate firewall blocking whatever port teamspeaker needs. I disabled Wi-Fi and immediately got an ID while on 3G. Works like a charm!”
