Samsung Electronics starts to put weight on Smartphone Cameras | FienstAndroid.com

Samsung-LogoSamsung Electronics have incorporated the Digital Imaging Business Division, in charge of cameras, with the Wireless Business Division. Samsung began to create synergies between smartphones and cameras in a bid to capture the largest share of the global mirrorless camera market in 2015, as according to the Korean media. The company formed the Enterprise Business Team early this year, and turned the global B2B Centre into a quasi-business division. Its focus is to reinforce B2B sales as the consumer goods market is saturated.

Samsung is believing merges will do a commendable job. Having the phone team who will put their focus on their line of work and when it comes to camera option; team camera will come in to perfect smartphones camera. This is great idea, and also in some way, it simplifies everything. It’s like the way we see in programming where developers working on large software’s like Operating system; forms several teams to work on sub-programs which will make up a complete software. This is also known as collaborative working, and gives room for speed.

However, as much as Samsung has set the two teams, it has to merge them in order to act as one team. An official from Samsung according to ET news said this:

“We will transplant the brand, sales networks, software competency and manufacturing competitiveness of the Wireless Business Division into the Camera Business Division, and integrate the technical know-how of the two business divisions into competency for differentiating our smartphones.”

The high end smartphones that are being manufactured today by various companies like LG, Motorola, Sony, Apple etc. are all powerful devices. Samsung have to think out of the box, and come up with ways to make their devices stand out.

The design, quality of a device, camera power, are some of the factors that probably will make the difference now and coming years. Samsung seems to have prepare in advance which is a good idea.
