Monument Valley is a puzzle game created by indie studio ustwo. This game is inspired by minimalist 3D design, optical illusions and palaces and temples from around the world, every monument is a unique, hand-crafted world to explore. In the game play, players manipulate impossible architecture and guide a silent princess through a stunningly beautiful world.
Monument Valley game is easy to play. Twist and drag to reshape the world and help Ida to explore. Guide the silent princess Ida through mysterious monuments, uncovering hidden paths, unfolding optical illusions and outsmarting the enigmatic Crow People. Designed to be easy for everyone to pick up, enjoy and complete.
Its visual style was inspired by Japanese prints, minimalist sculpture, and indie games Windosill, Fez, and Sword & Sworcery, and was compared by critics to M. C. Escher drawings and Echochrome. The art was designed such that each frame would be worthy of public display. After a closed beta test, it was released for iOS on April 3, 2014, and was later ported to Android and Windows Phone.
The game sounds are on top notch. Audio reacts to your manipulation of the world to provide a surreal and beautiful soundscape. Best experienced with headphones.
