We have always known Android OS to be our best operating system for Mobile smartphones. Yes, indeed it the most growing OS among cell phone business and this has been largely fuelled by its nice user interface and its dedicated app store where users can download their favourite games, and valuable applications to use in their daily day to day life.

Since Lenovo, manufacturers of the most stable and powerful long-life laptops debuted its first laptop running Android 4.2; we’ve just witnessed Android OS upgraded into PC operating system! Can you imagine that? Yes, you must do because the Lenovo A10 Android-Powered convertible laptop has arrived. The new laptop offers a customized version of Google’s 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with an added app launcher, task bar, and status bar for quick access to the app library & desktop and even a file manager.

The touchscreen display can be controlled using the device’s full-sized ergonomic AccuType keyboard in the laptop mode, and the entire thing can be flipped around for Stand and Tablet modes similar to the Windows-based Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga. It has a stable hinge and fold-back design to keep the device steady while you use the 10-point multi-touch screen. It comes with stereo speakers and an integrated 0.3M webcam as well.

Weighing less than 1kg and measuring just 17.3mm at its thickest point, the Lenovo A10 is an ideal companion for users who like travelling, providing easy access to a wide range of apps on a unique, dual-mode platform, which enhances the user experience for entertainment and Web browsing as well as productivity.

Other notable devices’ specs include a 1.6GHz quad-core Rockchip RK3188 Cortex-A9 processor, 1,366 x 768 display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD expansion, integrated 0.3M VGA webcam, two USB 2.0 ports and one HDMI port. This laptop can stay-awake 9 hours of battery life with continuous video playback.

Lenovo has not announced the price for the A10 and has said that it will vary from region to region. Rumours, however, pin the price at around $340. The new computer will sell in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region, but unfortunately won’t reach North American shores.
