Huawei announces new aluminum clad Media Pad 7 Youth, Addition to MediaPad tablet series

huawei-mediapad-7Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, launched the HUAWEI MediaPad 7 Youth, the latest addition to Huawei’s popular MediaPad tablet series. Made by a Chinese manufacturer (Shenzhen, China), the devices employs an aluminum unibody design measuring 9.9mm thing, weighing just 350g with a 7.10 touch screen display. Has a dual-core 1.6GHz processor, produced using the 28nm process. A 4100mAh battery allows for nearly two weeks of standby power and video will be played back in 1080 x 1920 resolution.

The device ship with Android 4.1 that will see a HSPA+21 networking capabilities and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as voice calling, SMS, and MMS.

The slab is headed for Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe in Q3 2013. As you can guess from the Youth title, the device is targeted a younger generation, and in that vein is supposed to be light, portable and powerful.

While Huawei didn’t mention a price, the MediaPad 7 Youth is the perfect portable companion for the connected generation to enjoy their independence!
