Group Play allows a number of people to view content at the same time and interact with the content. You can mark the content using the touchscreen on your device. Everyone sees the markup as you make it. You can share music, documents, photos, games and videos across devices when connected to the same Wi-Fi network or via Wi-Fi direct. It is Samsung’s new Group Play feature optimized on the Galaxy Grand, but officially was with introduced in Galaxy S4 Smartphone, Samsung’s fastest, slim, and has a ton of great features!

You can choose to listen to music together from your own device and headphones as well. All you need is to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Flexible: Group Play is supported on a number of Samsung flagship devices, including Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Tab 10.1, and Galaxy Note 10.1. Supported file types include photos (jpeg, gif), documents (ppt, pdf), and music (mp3). Powerful: Up to 10 participants can join a single sharing session. Secure: A PIN code allows you to protect your session so only trusted individuals can join your session.
Samsung released the small software update which is currently trending on mobile scene, that brings Group Play feature. The update is 27.86MB in size and you can manually trigger it by going to About Phone >> Software Update >> Update. This update target Galaxy Grand users only, It is similar but a considerable trimmed down version of Group Play that has been introduced in Galaxy S 4 smartphone.
