Galaxy Mega 6.3 Available Now in South Korea

Galaxy Mega 6.3Galaxy Mega 6.3, Samsung’s finest super smartphone which was announced some months ago by Samsung Company, now available in South Korea.  The device is said to bring the same set of features found on the international version and a few more for its consumers in South Korea; like ImageOn, DMB for live TV. As for other features, they remain the same like Android 4.2.2 OS, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM with 4G connectivity, LTE support, 8MP camera, full HD video recording with 6.3-inch 720p HD display, 1.9MP front camera, 16GB internal memory & microSD card support, 3200mAh battery.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is great on software part bringing features like Multi-window, Pop up Play, Story Album ImageON, WatchON, Air View, Samsung Hub, S Translator, Group Play and DRM service that will allow educational content on the device. The DRM service will be introduced in September.

Design & display

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is absolutely huge. At 88mm wide and almost 198mm tall, this is the biggest smartphone in the market almost similar to Galaxy Note II. It weighs 200g, but it doesn’t feel overly heavy in the hand considering its size.

The phone is designed to use large footprint and that might carry some problems since it can be very difficult to use single-handedly. It’s easy enough to access the right-mounted power/lock screen button and left-mounted volume rocker single-handedly, but nearly impossible to reach the home, menu and back buttons.

The plastic finish, which makes the phone slippery to hold seems not highly welcomed.
