Asus reveals the new Google Nexus 7 tablet with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Google_Nexus_7_in_hand_thumb160Asus has revealed a new version of the Nexus 7 tablet will be launch before the end of this month. Handling Android 4.2 Jelly bean, a 7in IPS screen but with a Full HD 1080×1920 resolution (make that 1200×1980!), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM and a bargain price tag of $215, the Nexus 7 is a tablet which, at the least, is a customer price friendly.

The Nexus 7 is respectably thin at 10.9mm and very light at 336g; a powerful device expected to strive through the market even with the availability of tight competition from other entries like Amazon with its Kindle Fire HD and Barnes&Noble with its Nook HD.

The planned portrait mode predominantly device looks very comfortable in one hand, in either orientation. You can easily reach right round the tablet with one hand, like you would with a smartphone. The pint-sized dimensions of 120 x 199mm mean you can also put the tablet in the back pocket of your denim fabric jeans or the inside pocket of a jacket crown.

Other interesting specs good for your knowledge include 32GB of storage (no mention of a microSD card slot), 5Mp rear camera, 1.2Mp front camera, 4000mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and support for 4G LTE networks
