5 VPN app lets you store your VPN password and provides a shortcut to the built-in Android VPN Settings. This will save you time when connecting. This app is for you if you already have a working VPN configured and want to connect it in more easier way.

Normally, Starting a VPN connection on Android is not very convenient. Usually, it requires 7 clicks and writing a password of which you can avoid writing by just copying it to the clipboard, and then paste it, for a total of 11 clicks. With this app however, it can be done in just 5 fast clicks and no password.

If you have problems connecting to a VPN, you should probably ask the VPN server administrator for assistance.

Setting up Pure vpn access under Android is simple. The following instructions will guide you through a manual connection of the PureVPN service on Android machines.

Install the 5 VPN widget (long press on home screen)
Tap the widget.
Fill in the password of your VPN account.
Click on connect. This will put the password in the clip board and launch the Android built-in VPN Settings (you may need to choose the “Settings” from a list).
Click on the VPN you wish to connect. Note: this assumes you have already configured the VPN.
Paste the password from the clipboard.
Connect.

After the first successful connection, the next time you click the widget it will take you straight to step 5, since you already have a stored password. If you are only interest inthe shortcut but you do not want to save the password, simply fill in some dummy password.

If you want to change the stored password, you must open the app, clicking the widget will take you straight to the Android VPN Settings.
